A hands on Sales Management role selling and directly managing the sales campaign and team on the National Infrastructure Expo (NIX). This role reports directly to the Event Director on a daily basis with a dotted line to the Sales Director, who directs the GovNet strategy and sales performance. Working alongside the Event Director and the show team to deliver target revenues, the Sales Manager position is a hands on role, ensuring that the sales operation operates to maximum efficiency in resourcing, performance, motivation and skill sets. The Sales Manager would also be expected to lead on key account management alongside the Event Director.

Working alongside the Event Director and the show team to deliver target revenues of £4m for 2018 the Sales Manager position is a hands on role, ensuring that the sales operation operates to maximum efficiency in resourcing, performance, motivation and skill sets.


An Event Executive is required to assist with and deliver a series of Public Sector focused conferences and training courses covering all logistical aspects including: venue liaison, event documentation production, exhibitor & sponsor management (when applicable), budget management, A/V production, catering, and all on site health and safety arrangements.


This position is within the Operations Department of the Expo Division at GovNet Communications. The vacancy is within a team responsible for the successful, high quality, execution of a variety of exhibitions including new launches, working closely with the other departments within the Expo Division.


Understanding ModernGov (UMG) is one of the UK’s largest providers of training for the public sector.
